Retinal Vein Occlusion

Retinal Vein Occlusion is a disease where a blood vessel draining blood from the retina becomes blocked, which can lead to retinal haemorrhage, damage to the retinal tissue and ultimately loss of vision in the affected area.

There are two types of retinal vein occlusion, branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) and the less common - central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).
